Civil legal support is the assistance of counsel and legal advocacy for individuals dwelling at or near poverty in legal matters that fall outside of the criminal justice system. In gentle of this disparity, The American Lawyer set out for the first time to learn how much cash these big corporations give to support legal help groups. What we found, as we reported in our July subject , is that at best, large legislation companies give only one-tenth of 1 p.c of their gross revenue to authorized support. Most give much less.
